About Payve · pre-licence, through regulated partners

Why Payve exists.
Every payment arrives.

Money across Africa should move fast, at a rate you see before you send, to the right person — and you should be able to watch it land. We are building that road.

The problem we are fixing

Anyone who has sent money across an African border knows the screen: a spinner, the word “pending”, and no answer to the only question that matters — where is it? The sender does not know. The recipient does not know. Often the company in the middle does not know either, because the payment went to a partner and the partner has not said.

Payve is built around one promise: every payment arrives. Each payout is priced before it moves, the recipient’s name is checked first, and the payment leaves on the best road we have to them. You see a plain status at every step, and your webhook says the same thing your dashboard does.

Underneath, every movement is a balanced double-entry pair. There is no balance field to edit, no spinner without a ledger row behind it. A finance team can reconcile against entries, not against hope.

How it arrives

Three mechanics make the promise true. All three are in the engine, not the brochure.

Route

Always the best road.

Every payout is scored across the rails that can carry it — cost, speed, recent performance — and leaves on the best one. Should that road slow, the payment moves to the next-best lane on its own, within limits you set. You do nothing.

Price

See the rate. See the fee. Then send.

The quote you accept is the quote we settle — held for five minutes, with the fee and the amount the recipient gets shown before you confirm. No mid-trip tolls.

Books

Every kobo, cedi and shilling on the books.

Each movement posts as a balanced double-entry pair or the ledger refuses it. Signed webhooks tell your systems what happened, and the customer sees a plain status, not a spinner.

Regulation

No licence of our own yet. Here is exactly how the money moves in the meantime.

Payve is pre-licence and operates through regulated partners. We are building toward our own authorisations across our target African corridors, and we design the platform to meet the regulatory and compliance requirements of each market we enter.

Who is building it

We would rather show you an honest gap than an invented team.

A small team in Lagos building Payve. Names, roles and photos go here once they are published — and not before.
